Since 1940 Goodwill Industries of North Florida has provided individuals in our communities an opportunity to work despite any barriers to employment. For over 75 years, Goodwill of North Florida has utilized gently used goods to provide employment and training opportunities to individuals in our 14 county territory. Continually recognized as a resource in our communities, Goodwill of North Florida has aided tens of thousands of individuals to overcome barriers to employment by providing them the necessary tools and resources to be successful.
Beginning summer 2017, Goodwill of North Florida will expand efforts to serve more individuals by adding Goodwill Temps as a resource to employment opportunities. Goodwill Temps is a community-based, non-profit, alternative staffing organization that provides soft skill and industry specific training, education, and employment services, through temporary, temp-to-perm, and direct hire opportunities.
Housed inside of already existing Goodwill Job Junctions, Goodwill Temps offers individuals unique opportunities to enter the workforce and provide employers exposure to qualified candidates. In addition, Goodwill Temps holds the unique distinction of being a non-profit social enterprise. Revenue generated through Goodwill Temps is reinvested into the mission of Goodwill of North Florida; dedicated to assisting all individuals who face barriers to employment.
Changing lives through the power of work, Goodwill Temps provides placement and skills training in the following industries: warehouse/logistics, hospitality, manufacturing, customer service, retail, office clerical, lawn maintenance, and professional industry staffing.
With experienced staff and a unique position to reinvest in our communities, Goodwill Temps will provide greater economic impact by developing a different workforce solution landscape in North Florida.
